ADVANCED TRAINING SESSION

An Advanced Training Session will push you and your dogs to the very limit in both land and water. 

Simulating a trial situation, the terrain is extremely challenging comprising a combination of fences, walls and ditches and including retrieves through woods and over ponds.  The distances will be further and through bracken whilst still retaining control.

TESTS

Alternatively, a test package can be configured as part of the Advanced training session to include a combination of different retrieves over fences, ditches and water. A course will be set up with testing situations including awkward retrieves.  There will be various types of terrain including water to push the dogs to the limit.

Depending on the time of year, tests can include:-

• a marked retrieve
• blind retrieve
• double retrieve
• water retrieve
• walked up simulation

The cost for each of the above packages will be £60 per person if using dummies, or £75 if cold game.  There will be a minimum of 6 people, either as one party or booked individually.

The day will start at 9.00am, meeting at the Buccleuch Kennels at Chapel.  The first 1/2 hour will be used as a briefing on what the day involves and on the group's objectives to be achieved throughout the course of the day, these can be tailored to suit each individual party.  Then straight into the training session, with a break for lunch.

There will be a de-brief at the end of the session.

You will need to bring your own packed lunch with you.
