BUCCLEUCH GUNDOGS-NOVICE TRAINING DAYS

The Novice Training day is for both the novice handler and novice dog.

The day consists of setting up various retrieves including fences, ditches, water and types of cover being used to simulate the different types of retrieves.  All these features are contained within our special purpose built training area to give your gundog the best available basic training and reach the achievable goals of the group.

TESTS

Alternatively, a test package can be configured as part of the Novice training session to include a combination of different retrieves over fences, ditches and water. A course will be set up with testing situations to match the dog's standard.

The cost for each of the above packages will be £60 per person if using dummies, or £75 if cold game.  There will be a minimum of 6 people, either as one party or booked individually.

The day will start at 9.00am, meeting at the Buccleuch Kennels at Chapel.  The first 1/2 hour will be used as a briefing on what the day involves and on the group's objectives to be achieved throughout the course of the day, these can be tailored to suit each individual party.  Then straight into the training session, with a break for lunch.

There will be a de-brief at the end of the session.

You will need to bring your own packed lunch with you.
